We were so happy to plan and produce this gorgeous bat mitzvah celebration last weekend. Oakland was experiencing a heat wave, but we managed to keep it all cool, calm and beautiful! The bat mitzvah service and kiddush celebration was held at Oakland’s Temple Sinai. Carrie Dove Catering provided the delicious luncheon, Isaac Zones’ trio treated the guests to a range of great tunes, and the teens took time out to shoot hoops on the outdoor patio and grab some candy! Custom linens, Andrea’s lush floral centerpieces, and Wendy Gardner’s custom designed monogrammed cookies were the finishing touches. Mazel Tov to Ava and her family!
For the evening celebration, we moved to the hidden gem, Hiller Highlands Country Club, for an intimate gathering of 45 friends and family to enjoy spectacular views, a bar with a mixologist who was on top of his game that night, buffet dinner served by Carrie Dove Catering, and caricature drawings to take home courtesy of Jon Casey Caricatures. For this event, we continued the morning theme by re-using the centerpieces from the kiddush, but this time we added bright green and white chevron accents with table runners, paper lanterns and custom designed lounge pillows, and added special touches such as lavender rose stems tucked into each guests’ napkin, lavender colored candy scattered throughout the venue, and elegant place cards with a dark lavender ink. It was a beautiful celebration, and we were grateful to be a part of it.
Special thanks to our fabulous team and vendor partners!
