An elegant cocktail hour, beautiful decor, a delicious dinner, and then a private concert featuring an esteemed singer songwriter and performer. This is the private house concert that we have cultivated and produced for more than a decade; it is our passion and we continue to strive to make it the best party of the year. This springtime gathering was no exception!
55 guests gathered at an Oakland Hills’ home on a crisp but beautiful late April night. Cocktail attire was requested for this particular event (because it’s fun to see your friends dressed up!), and Manhattans and Martinis were the signature cocktails. Dinner was prepared by the fabulous Svetlana Catering, and guests gathered in a nightclub bistro setting to further enjoy good wine and conversation. Then, the icing on the cake – two sets of music by the sensational Mark Erelli, accompanied by the masterful, Jake Armerding. There is no way to really describe the special and meaningful feel of a private concert. The audience and the musicians are connected in a much different way than your typical concert hall – there is banter, tears, laughter – all in the name of a beautiful song. You should really try it.
