It was so wonderful to be back in Nashville last week for the 2016 Americanafest conference and awards show…American music at its best! The awards show was the best ever, the venues for music showcases were spread throughout the city, and so much good music! If you’re wondering what “Americana” music means, it’s an amalgam of sounds that are merged from folk, country, blues, rhythm and blues, rock and roll and other external influences. We saw the very famous, the up and comers, and some new music that you should be checking out now.
